This is a long post both writing and picture wise, so clear your schedule. :)
My sister was nice enough to invite us to go stay with her up in Park City. Well, I thought it was nice of her to invite us until I found out it was just her and I along with SEVEN kids. I mentioned this in one of my last blog posts along with the fact that I was scared, but it turns out I was scared for all the wrong reasons! The kids were great......stay tuned for the bad part.
Austen was so excited to go up there and have a sleep over with his cousins. He had been talking about going all week and when Friday finally rolled around he knew exactly what that meant. He was so excited to go that as soon as I brought up our suitcase he carried it into his room and started loading it up.

He even got his swimming backpack all ready.

We got up there kind of late and after 45 min in the car, Austen was ready to go swimming. We hurried and fed everyone dinner and went down to the pools. It was freezing so everyone opted for the hot tubs. I had to sit this one out... Doctors orders, but it was hilarious to see Taunya trying to wrangle 7 kids by herself!

After an hour in the pool and way past everyone's bedtime (including mine) we went back up to the room to watch Nemo and eat popcorn. All the cousins were happy to finally be settled down except Austen of course who can't sit still for more than five minutes at a time no matter how tired he is. The other kids kept telling me "Austen can't sit still" and I was just thinking welcome to my world! He's exhausting, but fun!

I finally made him climb into bed and go to sleep.

In the morning the kids were having fun watching birds and cars out the window while Taunya made yummy waffles.

This picture was taken about 15 minutes before I got deathly ill and had to cut our trip short. I called the family know it all to see what could possibly have made me so sick and he said it was altitude sickness. Now, since I've never ever had that in my whole life and I've been up to Park City hundreds of times, I thought he was crazy and wasn't buying it. I called Brian and told him not to bother coming up and we packed up our stuff and flew down the mountain! The weird thing is that the further I got down the canyon, the better I felt. About 15 minutes after I got home, I was totally fine. It was the weirdest thing ever! So even though the family know it all was actually right.......I still think he's a little crazy.
