Speed Catch Up

Life is busy with twos kids!  Anyway, I use this as our family journal, so I really need to resume blogging or else I forget everything we've done and all the cute things my kiddos are up to.

Austen is recovering from a wicked cough along with an infected parotid gland which he needed antibiotics for.  He's doing much better now, but still has to be on meds for a week or so longer.  He is the sweetest little guy ever and is always telling me I'm the best Mom in the universe.  The other night he even told me he loves Archer so much and would protect him no matter what even if it cost him his life.  He's a tad dramatic, but oh so sweet!  He is currently obsessed with Star Wars which Brian loves!

Archer is getting a little attitude and loves to roll around on the floor crying when he doesn't get his way....I think he's practicing for full blown fits.  He also is into biting and pinching while nursing which is really fun.  He got his 2nd bottom tooth at 11 months and yesterday his first top tooth broke through.  He still thinks Austen and the dog are hilarious!  He LOVES cookies!  He will also eat sweet potatoes, carrots, and toasted cheese bread.  He also sometimes likes bananas, blackberries, and kiwi....it just depends on the day.  He is a very picky eater, but he WILL at least eat now.

Tomorrow is his 1st birthday and I can't believe it.  I'm sad my baby is gone, but I can't wait to see what he develops into.
