Life goes on unfortunately.....so we somehow found the time and energy to try to have a normal Easter for the kids a mere two days after losing our Dad. We had a really nice dinner an Easter egg hunt and I even managed to put Austen's Easter basket together.
Of course we made all the kids line up for a picture before letting them go look for eggs.
Once Austen remembered there was candy in the eggs he decided he found enough eggs and that it was time to start enjoying them.
He was tearing into the candy so fast.....he looked like a kid that hadn't eaten for days.
He found his Easter basket on his bed and told me that "the Easter bunny is so sneaky".
