We started off Easter weekend with the customary Easter dinner followed by our annual egg hunt which Austen declared his best Easter ever! He got a lot of candy, but I think he actually liked finding eggs the most.
Then we dyed eggs for the first time.....I was feeling brave.
It was actually fun and not as messy as I was dreading. I discovered that Austen LOVES hard boiled eggs.
Even Brian got into it. (The best part of this picture is that they are both making the same face.)
And of course the Easter bunny stopped by and left Austen some loot for Easter morning.
He was very excited
Especially when he found the Olde Brooklyn Lantern that he's been wanting.
And just because it's Easter, I let him eat Peeps for breakfast.
We had a nice, enjoyable weekend except for the fact that Brian and I have a killer cold that won't go away. I'm really hoping we're better before baby arrives!
