I don't have the energy to organize everything in sight anymore, so that phase of nesting is unfortunately over, but I DO have the energy to bake. I normally hate baking and I'm really not that great at it. Lately I have been baking banana bread like you wouldn't believe. I'm pretty sure my urge to bake is a form of nesting.....I can't imagine what else would make me want to do something I normally hate!
We've got three weeks to go before the new addition makes his entrance into the real world and I am beyond excited. I'm also a little scared of the transition from one to two.....hopefully it's manageable and I don't lose my mind. I went to the Dr. again today and everything is looking great. My body and the little man are not doing anything to get ready for labor, so it looks like he's staying put until he gets evicted. Apparently he's in no hurry to get out of there.....my Dr. said he thought it could be up to 5 more weeks before the baby decided to come on his own. I can't even imagine how big he'd get in 5 weeks considering I'm 37 weeks right now and that is technically a full term baby. The little man is loving to kick my right rib cage and he gets the hiccups all the time. I can't wait to meet him!
