We got some pictures taken of the boys a couple weeks ago and here are a few that the photographer put on her blog. I don't have the full disc yet, but when I do, prepare to be overloaded!

Archer Stats
I took Archer to the Dr. earlier this week for his check up (we were a month late because of insurance issues). He is still a big boy! He weighs 24 lbs which puts him in the 96th percentile for weight and 29 inches makes him 55th percentile for height (up from 13th percentile on his last visit). His head stayed in the same percentile as last time 82.
The Dr. was concerned about his lack of interest in food and his inability to swallow food or purees without gagging and choking. He recommended we go to the children's hospital to see some specialists and do an
x-ray swallow test. I was very upset by this obviously, and pretty worried, but after thinking about it non stop for two days, I've decided to make an executive Mommy decision and hold off on such an extreme test for now. I really don't think anything is wrong with him, I just think he doesn't like food right now. He's obviously not suffering considering how high he is on the weight chart. I think if it's still a problem by the time he turns one, I will revisit it.
He is currently loving this airplane toy! He loves to ride it, and tip it over to stick stiff in the under the seat compartment.
He also likes to carry things in his mouth from one place to another....this cracks me up!
His newest thing is to stick his tongue out when he's exerting himself, like standing up or climbing over something. I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet, but hopefully I catch it soon because it's CUTE!
Also, I LOVE it when you leave comments, but if you don't add your name, I have no idea who they are from. So type your name in with your comment unless you want to stay anonymous.

Spring Fever
Is it bad to admit that even though it's only February, I have spring fever.....BAD! I am really over the cold and snow and I would love to be able to play outside with the kids. I'm not asking for a lot, just 55 degrees or so and I would be happy. Instead, it snowed last night and it's supposed to snow 2 more days this week. I've been trying to come up with stuff to keep us busy indoors, but I have to say that we have been watching way too many movies and playing way too many ipad games. Hopefully I'm not ruining Austen's brain too much!
I got this idea from pinterest and decided it would be fun to try because Austen loves painting and being creative. I picked up some canvases for $2 at Hobby Lobby, some masking tape, craft paint, and some brushes and let him do his thing.
He loved it!
And the finished product was really cute! It doubled as decor for my mantle.
We also did one for Valentines day.
While I was taking pics, he made a heart with his hands and it was totally unprompted.
He likes his art so much that he really wanted to go door to door and try to sell it for $10. This kid is so his Daddy!

10 Months
If I could slow down time, I would! My cute little baby is growing up so fast and while it's fun to watch his personality emerge, I'm missing the baby stuff too.
I had a really hard time getting good pics of him and the month sticker only lasted for ONE picture.
At 10 months he is in size 5 diapers, size 18-24 months clothes, has one tooth, likes to eat squash, apples, and strawberries, and loves his Daddy and big brother. He says a few words like Dada, dog, quack, oh, and bye.
Superbowl Sunday
Brian's team won the superbowl!!!! He was beyond excited and may not be invited to next year's party with my family due to his over cheering.
We all got dressed up in our Seahawks gear and went to my sister's to watch the game. It was so much fun!
Austen even got to have a Pepsi and Archer loved all the new things to get into and the attention from all his cousins.

Help! Get Me Out Of Here!
I have two boys that are DONE being cooped up inside!
(The fact that we have been super sick since Monday isn't helping at all. Today's is the first day we have even left the house in almost a week.)

Bath Time Is Serious Business Around Here
My kids LOVE bath time, especially Archer! He would play in there for hours if I let him. He gets really excited when he hears the water turn on and he crawls into the bathroom as fast as he can. He loves to watch his big bro in there and he loves to play with all the toys and try to drink the water. Last night he even said quack quack after I did it.
