Austen is constantly surprising me, but his latest personality trait to emerge has been very surprising and unexpected. I've been noticing lately that Austen is quite the peacemaker. He doesn't really have a lot of opportunities to show off his skill given that he has no siblings, but he loves to tell Brian and I to take turns if we are having a loud discussion and on the rare occasion he is around to witness his cousins fighting he always intervenes. I love that he is so sensitive, it helps to balance out his destructive side!
